You need to speak with a good tech who knows these motors.

Your thought process is right Steve, it maybe just a computer flash and an injector swap.

My Dad is a diesel tech and from what i understand most modern diesel engines can be tuned up a couple hundred horse power in some applications with only a computer flash and a new set of injectors.
