Location: Tomahawk, WI | I got a 98 690 175 Optimax with a 21 pitch 3 blade Tempest Plus, i get 57 gps at about 5700 rpm. Great holeshot, 1 vent unplugged, but porposes more at lower speeds, hard to keep on plane under 30 mph.I also have a 23 Pitch 4 blade Trophy, terrible hole shot, and a little less top end speeed this prop does not have vents, thus the terrible holeshot, but helps with porposing at lower speeds. I always wanted to send to Mark Croxten to get the prop vented. Sled, i live in Tomahawk and always wanted to try the High Five, maybe we can hook up sometime on Minoqua to try each others props. Heard the High Five was the way to go on 690's to prevent porposing at lower speeds. |
