Location: NW WI		Waxing a fiberglass hull creates air bubbles between the water and the hull and does slow you down but 95% of us won't ever notice it on our boats. It's the ultra fast, high HP bass boats (Bullet's as mentioned here) where you'll see it and feel it. The bubbles create instability at very high speeds.
