Location: Kodiak, AK		Are the numbers and letters decals or are they painted? Ususally a hair dryer (NOT a heat gun!) will soften them up enough to get them off with a razor or plastic scraper. Then a solvent like Goo-Gone to remove any remaining adhesive. That's how I've done it on tin and glass boats in the past.
