If you're not able to clean/polish it with normal cleaners and waxes by hand, you're going to need a compound and a wheel, or if it's bad enough, wet sanding. There's no easy fix for bad oxidation. It's not a matter of applying a product and having it soak in (that's why ArmorAll looks like it does a good job, is because it is temporarily soaking in and giving you a wet look, but it doesn't do anything to remove oxidation), you've got to chemically and mechanically remove the oxidation from the boat. |
