Lots of boat buying going on here. I just got a great deal on a 2007 Fish Hawk 1600 with a 75 opti on it. 20 hours and good compression but it has likely never been fogged, sat for one year and I think did not always get a taste of the merc recommended oil. Guy I bought it from was a good guy but he should not have owned a boat! I feel like I rescued a puppy from a puppy mill (boat mill). Hope it treats me well but it sure ran great in the water. We put a new starter battery in it, dumped it in the lake and it started and ran perfectly. I am planning on draining the old gas and oil and putting new/good stuff in as well as changing gear oil - which was fine when I checked. That motor sure was a lot faster than the suzi 70hp I had on the same hull.
