Location: Stones throw away...finally!!		I had my axles trued on my tandem as I was experiencing the same thing. It is more or less a heat and bend procedure if it is a solid axle. A shop that knows what they are doing can true it quite simply and relatively inexpesively, compared to new tires every 300 miles.
