11. What will my exhaust do to my Towtector?

- Under the bumper rear exhaust will melt your brush strips. Cut 2” circle around exhaust.

I also saw that but I was thinking the same thing as Lambeau - cutting a 2" circle in hanging brush strips won't work, the ends of the brushes below the circle will not be connected to anything???

I wanted to know if someone had an exhaust pipe facing the brush strips but had not had to buy the expensive heat shield?
