Tony,

I run a 1990 680T and I have fished it in every condition imaginable. I fish muskies the majority of the time and it is an awesome boat. It sits a little lower in the water but I have not had any problems even in 3 footers. Perfect for many of the shallow launches in Vilas Co. I have fished very shallow with it and walked/pushed it over sand bars with maybe 6-8 inches of clearance...regardless it can go very shallow. Only down side is that I would love to put a more powerful outboard on it (not a problem for you with a console), only a 7 foot rod locker and not a whole lot of storage room - but all in all a great muskie fishing / multi-species boat! A butt-seat in front would be important - I mainly fish out of the back.
