I just bought a boat and need to put a trolling motor on it. In the past, I have been using minn kota PD units but I have narrowed it down to two for this purchase. I will be buying a 70 or 80# thrust unit with 54" shaft. I want a terrova or a maxxum - never owned either. Is the terrova really much better than the power drive? If so, what would be best for my 1600 fish hawk in your opinion?
