although not that particular model, i replaced my lowrance with a humminbird due to problems i had as well. What i can say is that the humminbird is fantastic. Easier to use, more accurate and works at higher speeds without losing the bottom. If i need a new finder right now, i would buy humminbird over a lowrance any day.
