OK - I have been dead set against EVER putting a Merc on any boat I own.

However, my only option on a certain boat is a 150 Verado. The only reason this is even a consideration is because it's a 4 stroke.

What has everyone's experiences with the Verado been? I have had a 80 Yamaha for 9 years and the only thing I have ever had to do to it was clean the carbs.
