Any trailer is going to rust...

Plus...It's a freeking RUST bucket...

bedliner...

when you get a new boat, take it where you can leave it off the trailer for 2 days.
make sure the trailer is really clean, and then go to town with spray cans of truck bedliner. it won't be shiny like the paint, but it'll be way better at the end of the year.

best $30 you'll spend on your boat.
(some companies charge you a couple hundred bucks for this trailer "Armor" option.)
