I just bought a larger boat and will be rigging it with a bow mount trolling motor with a 60" shaft. I think I probably need a Ram mount to hold the shaft while trailering. I really only trailer the boat about 1500 miles a year but I think that thing would be bouncing all over the place if not secured. . Due to the cover that is going to be put on the boat, I am trying to avoid the ram ball from having to be mounted on the gunnel and causing a problem with the new cover. Anyone know of a flush mount type securing for the trolling motor shaft? Thanks, Tom
