Location: Stevens Point, WI		I talked with two Lowrance technicians. They both said your suppose to be able to use the internal antenna on the HDS and have that networked with a LMS or LCX unit and have that work. However, both of the techs have yet to have a network setup using the internal antenna of the HDS. They also said they've only used the LGC-3000 for a network or have setup two HDS units in a network.

If you've got a LGC-3000, use it, it'll probably be easier.
