Location: Duluth, MN		You will have to pay wis tax on a used boat. It doesn't matter what state you bought it in. They charge tax when you register it at your local dnr office. They charge you tax on the price that is LISTED Listed on your bill of sale. Did I say they charge you tax on the price of purchase listed on the bill of sale.
