I apologize for the confusion, my setup is on a DF90, not DF140. The DF90 manual calls for a 4500 to 5500 full throttle operating range. I do not get an rpm light at any time but I am definitely a little above the recommended range. I guess that I do not get too worried about it knowing the motor is allowed to run to 6000 rpm when rigged and programmed as a 115 hp model.
