Hey Gang,

I have a 50 HP 2003 Johnson 50HP 4 stroke. If i put it in neutral and increase the rpm's it shakes left to right (pretty violently at 4500 rps). I dont know how it runs wide open (as i cant get on a #*^@ lake to find out).

Is there any chance this is normal?? I have to be honest, i never did this before. She starts fine and there is no warning indicator that anything is wrong.

Any info would be helpful. The engine has 25 hrs on it, i barely use the thing. Always using my 9.9.

Thanks, Rob
