Hiya,

My first question would be is the gas cap vented? How old is the tank you are using? I would say that if you can get a hold of a different gas cap to try or easier yet, a different tank to try, put it on and test. If the problem stops, chances are it is your tank that has the issue and somehow it is not venting correctly.

If the gas cap is vented, I am wondering if the vent has somehow gotten plugged up or gummed up from something.

If you left the cap on and run until it starts to die out, check the bulb on the fuel line...if the bulb is compacted (like everything was sucked out of it) and it works on the new tank, it's time to replace either the cap or the tank itself.

Gut instinct tells me this is not a power pack issue. If it runs well with the gas cap off, the tank is not venting.
