Hey guys i got a small bass pro shops hand controlled trollin motor for my jon boat. A couple day ago the insulation on the alligator clip hook to the positive side started to burn and melt and the motor was hiccuping some. didnt think nothin of it. now yesterday i went out and i could not get the motor to work. now i could kick start the prop with my hand but as soon as it hit the water it wouldent spin anymore. I know theres power gettin to it cause that power light is on. I have taken the cap off the top of the motor and all the wires look in place. Any opinions on what the problem might be? Thanks
