Location: Stevens Point, WI		That's correct. Almost all the big units that are made today are made for Saltwater applications, they've just found their way into the freshwater market. The Lowrance HDS units are capable of reading to depths of 5000 feet. The more power the unit has, the better the detail in deeper water the unit will pick up.
