Hmmmm....I have a 200HO ficht that was running like crap...replaced fuel, ran treatment, no go....finally pulled the plugs and they were WAY fouled. Put new plugs in and now it runs fine....had new plugs in her last summer. Shouldn't I get more life than one season? My fishing partner figured it is running too rich---injecting too much oil---is that a reasonable assumption...he pointed out all the carbon on the inside of my prop where exhaust comes out as another indicat or that is running too rich. I'm clueless. When I take it in for winterizing should I have them check the oil injection rate? Is my pal on the right track? No--I don't troll with the motor. I do, however, regularly fish a stretch of river where I need to travel a mile or so in idle due to shallow water.....maybe that's the problem....
