I would go with the marine grade in the same thickness and good quality carpet. You can get the marine grade at Menards or Home Depot usually. If not, check a small box lumber yard if available. Don't forget your stainless steel screws for reattaching.

Oh yeah... measure twice and then again before you start cutting. Easier if you can use the old pieces as a template.
