That''s correct, they're a shallow water anchor, good to about 6' in some chop, or up to 7' in flat water. Lake St. Clair is characteristically a shallow lake, and my PP has paid for itself more times than I can count. I love it.

And before someone says, "just use an anchor...." Comparing a PP to an achor is like comparing a trolling motor to a set of oars and a GPS to a chart and slide rule.
