Just for the record, there is no anti-union sentiment being pushed here. I'm just thinking that if the company looks at the option of producing units in two American cities and the labor cost is significantly less in a Southern, more business friendly state---they are likely to opt for the lower cost. When we as a nation began to buy into the "Always lower price" sonata that the Wal-mart piano player was singing, we sank a harpoon deep into the heart of anybody with a blue collar having too good a future. It's just the way it is. If they thought you'd pay a higer price for a Verado if the plant was in Fond du Lac than if it were in Oklahoma (or whereever it is) then they would build it here. Unfortunately, their research says you want to pay less. Personally, as a guy who earns his living in the Wisconsin metal working industry, I am going to suffer too if they move--and I'll be sad about it as well--it just won't make a difference.
