Any reports of folks having a tough time paying bills this year are certainly no big surprise anymore. The only thing I can think of that might put a positive spin on this for me is that maybe FLW will get Mercury to take the place of Evinrude if they can't settle their differences. I have a Merc on my Ranger and it would be nice to have a chance at some of the motor money if they made that switch. Interestly, my particular Ranger dealer will sell nothing but a black motor even though Ranger has had their horse tied up in front of the Evinrude and Yamaha shops for some time now. Also, as bad as it sounds for the folks in Fond du Lac, if the company opts for the non-union crowd down South, the end result might be making it a far more competitive company. Marty Forman
