Location: Plainfield IL | How long should trailer tires last? Since most anglers don’t use their rigs all year long and the tread life of the tires still look good. The reason for this is this past weekend my buddies 2005 boat with 50 hours on it, had a blow out on a Good Year Marathon. Granted the roads were hot due to the temps and we noticed many cars changing flats as well. There were also a lot of re-tread truck tire gators all over the roads as well. The GY Marathon tire was just destroyed. Not sure if he hit something, but kind of disappointed at how the tire looked, pretty much garbage |
