all boats are head-aches. decide what you want first based on where you fish, what your towing capabilities are and where you're going to store it. then the rule of thumb is that you can get almost twice the boat used vs. new but if you finance anything there are considerations. i was a "new" buyer and have since become a "used" buyer and probably will never buy a new boat again. good luck either way you go .... look here and at the other place we're not allowed to mention and get a feel for the numbers ... lots of assistance from folks and i'm sure there are some archived threads you'll be able to cruise using the search function.
