TJ, thanks so much for taking the time to chat about this, it is truly appreciated. Please throw a rotten egg at the lowrance people for their awful support...lol.

Theory goes if the puck is mounted too close to the unit, it can cause interference. So i'm gonna try mounting it at least 3 feet away and see. That or a bad puck which I haven't seen the symptoms of on the signal screen. Fun part, tonight out for about 4 hours, didn't lose position once on the same lake and shoreline as last saturday!
