JRedig, my suggestion is, since your 520 is working and I'm assuming that you have your 38 and 520 networked and running off one puck, take the puck and hook it directly to the 38 and see if it works without cutting out.

After talking with my Lowrance contract about your issue, he and I both think you may have a problem that is within your network, either your t's or your cables that are running back and forth from the units.
