Location: Grand Rapids, MI		What lights are new on the trailer? Just the 2 rear lights? Are they sealed waterproof lights? Sometimes if a bulb is put in incorrectly and is touching the terminals in the fixture wrong, this will happen too. If the bulbs are replaceable, make sure you have 5317's not 5316's. The 17's are a double fillament bulb, whereas the 16's will be a single fillament. Also, maybe try plugging the trailer into a newer vehicle to see if the same problem arises.
