Location: Sun Prairie, WI		Ok, there are only 2 gears in the lower unit, forward and reverse. I suspect the problem to possibly be a spun hub in the propeller. Not sure about the linkage issue. Is the lowerunit making any nois when in gear? I guess it might be possible for it to not be going all the way into gear but if that were the case I would think there would be some noise. I would have the prop looked at first. Hope this helps.
