Location: Red Wing, Minnesota | I wash the boat to remove sand/dirt, grease, etc. Then I fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar. I spray down small areas at a time and wipe spots off with a soft clean cotton cloth. It really does an excellent job of removing water spots. After I'm done, I rinse the boat and dry it. I then wax with Nufinish. There are commercial products that remove these spots very well, but vinegar is cheap and works!
P.S. Wiping down your boat at end of the day slows down the rate of spot build-up.
