Location: syracuse indiana		if it a merc your in trouble.. the brain is fried.. it says that in the manuel not to do that.. i have always heard of this happening when just unplugging the battery and getting a spark on the post. if i rmemebr right you take off the positive post first and then the hegative. and do it the opposit way for puting the battery back on the motor...bill
