Subject: Alumicraft Boats Good?

Ranger, they are made in St. Peter MN I belive and are a very popular brand of boat in the MN and WI area. I have owned two in the past a 15' model F8 and a 16' Lunker. Both were pretty good boats with the nod going to the 15 footer. It was an older model and built out of extremly heavy gauge alum. We did have some problems with the rivets in the 16' but was mostly from in Canada with way too much stuff and weight in the boat. Big waves and overloaded created some problems. Overall good boats however, top of the line Aluminum rigs.
