Jerry can't those unit be used with an external antenna and then you can share waypoints and such with the nmea2000 network. that would be my recomendation why spend 2000 bucks on a unit and not 200 on a real antenna. let me know how that unit works out for you I would like to upgrade but want some feed back on them first. Good luck
