Location: Hayward, WI		Welll... I think the V2 has a maximizer feature which gives you a longer battery life and the Edge probably doesn't. They deploy a little differently. The Edge should have a pull rope to deploy/stow and the V2 is a little more manual in operation.

I would go to the Minn Kota website and do a little research on them. There should be information on both motors there...
