Subject: Rod Holders Not Staying Put!

Got a snail mail yesterday from Dennis F?. Not sure who he is, maybe dennis b? We've sent a few e-mails back and forth. He has an adaptor designed to allow the use of Downeasters on the Scotties flush mounts. I will look at it in more detail soon. Cory, with Dennis's permission, I could send you a copy. Dennis, are you out there? Or on another board? What say you?

Not one pop out last night, but that was because Jason was working his a$$ off keeping the rods free of salad! I did see some improvement last Friday, and Saturday by wetting them. Probably went 15 minutes, instead of 4 or 5 minutes. Helps, but doesn't eliminate the pops. Again, it happens more with the big deep divers, and when the boat rocks from side to side.

Bear, plastic electrical, or the cloth type?

Tight Lines,
