What kind of oil does everyone run in their Mercury motors and why? Does a guy need to run the expensive name brand stuff or will any outboard oil that meets the manufacturer's specs do? I just got a 150 Merc and don't want to mess it up so any advice would be great. Also, if anyone knows of a place where a guy could buy a case of oil cheap, that would be great to know!
