Location: Stevens Point, WI | I deal with this a lot fishing the WI River and I found that Simple Green works really good for this and it won't harm the clear coat. I dilute it to 4:1 in a spray bottle and spray it on and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes and it then wash with the Boat Wash in a Bottle soap. Works real good. If you have scum that has been sitting for a really long time muriatic acid is an option if it's diluted down a lot and rinsed off right away, a bit risky but it eats through every thing. |
