Is the weight in your boat proportionally set out? Meaning, if your the only guy loading the boat, do you have your tackle on the port side(left side) of the boat? This can help a lot even out the weight on both sides. Otherwise, have a second guy sitting in the passenger seat can also help. Also, when your just about ready to engage the trailer with the boat, another little trick you can do is step directly to the middle of the boat, using your right hand to steer the boat up the trailer.

When putting the trailer in the water, are the launches you've been on typically pretty level? Never really heard of people having too many issues with a bunk trailer. Usually you just drive it on and hook it up.
