Location: So. Illinois | This question is for those of you who use a 9.9 kicker for trolling in addition to your main motor. I am looking at purchasing a Crestliner 1850 fishhawk and am stuck between getting a single 115 - 150 4 stroke over a 2 stroke main motor with a 9.9 4 stroke kicker.
With this type of setup, what speed range would I expect to get using the kicker for trolling? Also, we have many 10HP limitt lakes where I fish. Would a kicker be able to handle motoring a boat such as the 1850 from spot to spot and what would I expect to get for a top-end speed?
I would appreciate any comments you may have.
