Subject: RE: Humminbird fishfinder / gps

I just thought this might help...

Two weeks ago Cabelas had the Humminbird 595C fishfinder/gps in their bargain cave for $350 bucks. It's color and navionics compatible...looks pretty sharp. With shipping and sales tax, that came to $392 bucks.

There were quite a few on ebay for a lot cheaper though. I got one for $333 with shipping (and no sales tax).

Just so you know, the ones on ebay are mostly "factory refurbished" with a 90 day factory warranty rather than a year. However, as this is a discontinued line, I'm pretty sure Humminbird sold all their remaining inventory to outlets and marked them as refurbished so they didn't have to cover the longer warranty. That's pretty common. And that's also why there are quite a few on ebay right now at that same price.

I got mine and it was factory packed and unopened....just had a sticker that said "90 day warranty" It had all components and manuals. Got it installed yesterday and works like it should. For all you bargain hunters looking for a good deal on a nice gps/fishfinder, check it out!
