No, Tuffy does not rig all there boats with Merc's, most just choose to run Merc's. Brett King ran a Tuffy 2060 with a Yamaha 200HPDI last season and was very happy. The 2060 is rated for a 250 but with the 200, he was running mid to low 50's with it.

The closest boat in comparison to an X-190 would be a Ranger 618 but even then it's not really that comparable with a the 190 being a foot longer and having a 200hp rating compared to only a 150 on the 618. The 1890 and 2060 are the next step up, the 1890 has a hp rating of 200 and the 2060 has a hp rating of a 250. Both rigs are much deeper than the 190. The 1890 is comparable to the Ranger 619 and the Tuffy 2060 is comparable to the 620.
