Location: Iowa		I think he's made up his mind already, just looking for someone to tell him it's O.K. msky3, if you want a new motor and it makes you feel safer on the water then go for it. It's no fun out there if you have doubts about your equip. I've never had a motor that new, but the last one I had was 20+ years old, and I abused the hell out of it while I owned it. Take care of them, they'll last.
