I've had several minn kotas, and while they have been pretty good, I'd shop around next time. I have the Terrova now, and while it is powerful and hasn't given me any grief so far, the pedal is a bit bulky. I am intrigued by the thought of a remote pedal. Do they take AA's? Rechargable? I have the co-pilot for mine to reduce pedal time, but really would love a cordless pedal.
