If you can afford the extra money it may be worth checking into an eagle fish elite 480. It gives you more power, higher pixel ratings and gps for 359$.

That is a good unit, however, both units he was asking about are color. I'd imagine that's something he's wanting. In my opinion, the color units are definitely the way to go. If you take a look on ebay, their are some great units for a whole lot less than buying new.
