I have a 2003 Mr. Pike 17. Same boat. I love it. And absolutely love the layout. Because there is no port console you have plenty of room to move around...more than enough room for 3 to fish. It's big enough to handle "big" water....i fish Mille Lacs a few times a year and have been out in some pretty big rollers with it and have never felt unsafe. I know alot of people like the windshield if you upgrade to a Pro V but the few times a year you really NEED a windshield just isn't enough for me to give up the openness of the Mr. Pike. Theres plenty of storage. Easy to trailer around. I pull mine with a Toyota Sienna van. And it scoots along pretty good with a 115. If you move up to a Pro V you probably need to get a 150 to be happy. I just couldn't afford the step up to a Pro-V and i actually like the Mr. Pike design better.

Anymore questions just ask.
