The plug itself is brand new and is indeed the 12/24V marinco that came on the boat. The ground is plugged in the neg slot and the power into the 24V slot....just picked up a new one last night and hooked it up. Still no power.

If the interior light works on the front plate would that mean I can assume the trolling motor plug should be getting power as well? As you probably know the light receives power via short power cords in relay with the jumper switch from the main power. Additionally, my lowrance unit is using the same power/ground connections as the trolling motor and it works!!

Is it possible that a spider or bug got in the female end a is disrupting the connection??
