I would get a voltmeter to check voltage. I bought a Voltmeter from Radio Shack for about $25.00. If one battery is low it will drain the other two , untill they are equal. If one is dead, you are only running on 24 volts instead of 36. On 24volts it runs at about 50% and didn't last very long on the 101. Also you may want to check the positive to negative conections after you jump your motor. I see you are from Bloomer, which lakes do guide? My sister and brother-in law live there.
My personal best 52"er came from a small lake north of Bloomer.
